In 2019, Chris Dolman won the $28,000 Fauvette Loureiro Memorial Artists Travel Scholarship, open to graduates of Sydney College of the Arts (SCA), for his expanded painting installation The Sun is Setting (and there is nowhere left to hide). Dolman's winning work is deceptively sophisticated, a play between the illusionistic space of the paintings and the three-dimensional components that surround and echo them.
