An Analysis of Isotherms of Uranium Sorption at the Concentrations Range of Own Colloids Formation.

Abstrakt: The concentrations range of uranium colloids formation in aqueous solutions were determined depending on pH and concentrations. Isotherms of uranium sorption by a sorbent based on titanium hydroxide were obtained at a wide uranium concentrations range. The isotherms were treated by the Langmuir’s and Dubinin-Radushkevich models. It was shown that achieving solubility product of a sparingly soluble compound in pore space is the main condition for realization of the Dubinin-Radushkevich isotherm. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
