Abstrakt: |
A study of yttrium oxide-based ceramics with a variable content of europium, obtained by the method of coprecipitation of layered hydroxonitrates at a constant pH of 7, followed by thermal decomposition was conducted. The addition of europium does not have a significant effect on the size and morphology of the powder particles. It was found that europium is rather homogeneously distributed in the yttrium matrix over the whole concentration range. The maximum luminescence intensity is observed for samples with a content of 10 % molar europium oxide. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
