Abstrakt: This article discusses several books related to social work. The book "Handbook of Clinical Social Work Supervision," by Carlton E. Munson provides an interesting reference text, bearing in mind that "clinical" supervision is the main emphasis. The book attempts to provide a method of evidence-based practice by providing reference studies, but the cited studies are mostly undertaken by the author and do not draw on a wider or more international research base. Another book, "Working With Young People in Europe," by Brigitte Voland and David Porteous testifies both to the common core of youth work and local variations in all its manifestations in national contexts in Europe. It is the result of collaboration between five universities and four youth organizations in France, Spain, the Netherlands and Great Britain. Yet another book, "Social Work and Human Rights: A Foundation for Policy and Practice," by Elisabeth Reichert aims to prompt students, educators and professionals to further their knowledge about human rights and develop techniques for applying human rights to the profession.
