Cutaneous neoplasms are a fairly common entity in a patient with xeroderma pigmentosum, wherein they occur in a younger age group. Biopsy from the lesion showed tumor tissue in sheets and cords infiltrating fibrocollagenous stroma. HMB45 stain showed strong diffuse positivity in tumor cells (Fig. b).
