Abstrakt:	The article discusses a study which examined the prevalence of cardiovascular (CV) risk factors in patients with antineutrophil cytoplasmic antibody (ANCA)-associated vasculitis (AAV). Topics covered include demographic and disease characteristics of patients, factors that may increase CV risk, and the adherence of patients in the Netherlands and Canada to current national CV risk management guidelines.
