Dynamic characteristics of carbon fiber composites with different number of layers and their laying were obtained by laser Doppler vibrometry. Own forms and damping coefficients for the first three frequencies are obtained. The relationship between dynamic characteristics and the internal structure of composites is established. The data obtained are suitable for developing recommendations for the design of composite products with specific internal structure configurations. It is shown that the approaches used allow to select a composite with an optimal internal structure for the manufacture of aerospace engineering components with specified dynamic characteristics in the required frequency range in order to improve the performance of products.
