Abstrakt: Powder compositions based on vanadium-containing iron powder with Zn, Cu, and C alloying microadditives, produced by mechanical mixing, are studied. The granulometric composition and morphology of the particles of the powder compositions are determined. It is shown that the parameters characterizing the geometry of the particles and their size after mixing remain practically unchanged as compared with the values for the base material. At the same time, on the surface of the particles, partial destruction of oxide films is observed. The results of studying the process of pressing the obtained compositions demonstrate that the introduction of microadditives into the initial iron powder contributes to a better compaction of the blanks.
