Abstrakt: The solution of several researches and practical tasks on the oscillation suppression is considered. The purpose of the work is to study the methods of oscillation damping and ways to shift the position of the resonant frequency. Theoretical and practical methods of researching the problem were carried out. The relevance of the topic is confirmed by the fact that many structures (from car structures to multi-storey buildings) are subject to the greatest and undesirable fluctuations, i.e. resonance. The solution of the elementary problem of resonance quenching is proposed. A patent review of various vibration damping systems has been completed. Completed a review of the literature on this subject: both contemporary articles and publications, and classical textbooks. Conducted laboratory experiments to determine the stiffness of the structural element and to find the vibrational characteristics. Based on their results, the necessary calculations were made to determine the characteristics of oscillations of single-mass and two-mass systems. The results showed that an effective way to shift the position of the resonant frequency is to increase the mass of the load of the dynamic absorber. As a damper can act as a solid, and a tank with water, which simplifies and accelerates the adjustment of the mass. This conclusion is a prerequisite for the development of ways to regulate the load.
