H. Skovoroda maintained the provision that every human can and must master the possibilities of happy life thanks to correspondingly mastered quality of their work as a necessary ground for life fulfi llment – a necessity by their nature of “congenial” work. The article emphasizes that the concept pf “congenial” work demonstrates, in the fi rst instance, in-depth uniqueness of the unity of life and philosophical creativeness of the Ukrainian thinker, whose philosophical insights genius exactly was that he was able to articulate, on universally meaningful human asserting measurements of work, as a life-existing factor of human and society, the conditions of harmonization of their interaction. High humanism of H.S. Skovoroda’s world-view and philosophical views demonstrates thinker’s striving – maximally objectively, with regard to the most important circumstances of life fulfi llment – to fi nd and substantiate the most favorable further prospects for the development of the society.
