The article presents information on several books and publishers. Open Court Publishing Co., will publish this month Karma, a tale by Paul Carus, illustrated by Japanese artists and printed on Japanese crepe paper; and Lovers Three Thousand Years Ago, as indicated by the Song of Solomon, by the Reverend T.A. Goodwin. Dodd, Mead &, has undertaken a sumptuous limited edition of Edmund Spenser's Epithalamion; Co., with the aid of George Wharton Edwards, who frames each stanza in an ornamental border and gives it a full-page design. Movement by Professor E.J. Marey, is in the press of D. Appleton & Co. It will contain more than 200 Illustrations. Burrows Brothers Co. have nearly ready Fringilla, a first volume of poems by Richard Doddridge Blackmore. |
