The article presents the 5-year accumulation of bibliographic material relating to the history of dermatology as available in the English language. Many sources are used for obtaining the citations ranging from "Index Medicus" and "Current Works in the History of Medicine" to serendipity and library searches. The Library of the College of Physicians of Philadelphia, once the world's greatest dermatologic library, now subscribes to a fraction of the dermatology journals previously taken. The editors of the journal have attempted to keep the subject headings similar to those used in previous editions so that the reader will be able to search each installment with relative ease. |
