The article presents a comment and bibliographic compilation of the history of dermatology as available in the English language of Medicine to serendipity and library searches. The Library of the College of Physicians of Philadelphia, the world's greatest dermatologic library, now subscribes to a fraction of the dermatology journals previously taken. The list contains the names associated with dermatology. The names are Bernard Ackerman, Thomas Addison, Nelson Paul Anderson, William P. Coleman, Frank Charles Combes, Hugh Crumay. The books mentioned are "Reminiscences and Caricatures of American Dermatopathologists," "Abbreviated curriculum vitae of Harvey Blanki," and others. |
