| Abstrakt: |
This article presents a medical case related to follicular mucinosis associated with pregnancy. A healthy 25-year-old white woman gravida 4 para 3 presented with a facial eruption in the seventh month of an uneventful pregnancy. She stated that the eruption began with small papules on the forehead and progressed to weeping, crusted areas on the forehead and cheeks. On examination, both medial cheeks and her lower forehead and glabellar areas were studded with deep-seated violaceous papules and nodules superimposed on deeply erythematous plaques, measuring 5 x 5 cm on her cheeks and 11 x 4 cm on her forehead. |
