Abstrakt: This cross-sectional study aimed to assess if there is relationship between psychosocial and lifestyle factors and sleep quality in individuals with chronic low back pain. 78 participants with chronic low back pain (>3 months) were included in the study between October 2017 and April 2018. Depression, anxiety and social isolation were assessed by brief screening questions. Alcohol intake and smoking were assessed by patient self-report. Body mass index (BMI) was calculated by patient mass (kg) and height (m). Physical activity levels were assessed through the International Physical Activity Questionnaire (IPAQ). Sleep quality was evaluated by using the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI). The correlation coefficients were obtained through Spearman test. The significance level was set at 0.05. Logistic regression was used to assess the significant correlations. Anxiety (r= 0.24, p= 0.02) and smoking (r= 0.26, p=0.02) were weakly correlated with sleep quality. Neither anxiety nor smoking were associated with sleep quality after regression analysis. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
