Proposes a technique for detecting flaws and cracks in ferromagnetic materials by means of the Barkhausen effect. Method of counting the event rate of Barkhausen noise during the course of the magnetization, which allowed the detection of flaws and cracks from the rear surface of the plates; Alternative means for the nondestructive testing community. |
