BACKGROUND The major problem; our today's world facing is the shortage of donated organs which can be solve by raising awareness regarding organ donation. Worldwide million of people suffering from organ failure die and there is a huge requirement of donated organ. We as dental students have responsibility to look forward this issue and we are the key elements in facilitating cadaveric organ donation process. AIMS AND OBJECTIVES To assess the knowledge, attitude, awareness and practice regarding organ donation among dental students and interns. MATERIAL AND METHODOLOGY A cross-sectional study was designed & a prevalidated 18-item self-administered questionnaire was distributed among dental students and interns of VSPM Dental College, Nagpur. RESULT Out of 365 participants 296(81%) were females and 69(19%) were males. About 363(99%) of participants were aware of term organ donation. 322 (88%) student support organ donation. Only 61 (17%) students have pledge to donate. CONCLUSION The overall knowledge of participants regarding organ donation was good. The attitude of participants towards organ donation was found to be positive and the awareness was found to be average. But the practice habit of the participants was found to be of low level.
