THEORETICAL STUDY FOR AIR-LIFT PUMP SYSTEM. APPLICATION'S PROPOSAL - OFF-SHORE LIGHT FISHING.

Abstrakt: In the Black Sea, electrical light can attract, in certain periods, the following fish species: sprat, pontic anchovy, Azov anchovy, saurel, common grey mullet, tinker, etc. In the paper we do not present the results of the researches regarding the attraction modalities of this species by electrical light, but the system which the fish, concentrated near the light source, can be brought on board. One of the systems which can he used is air-lift pump. Airlift pump system is an installation based on principle of communicating vessels filled with no miscible liquids. Compressed air, introduced on the base of an underwater conduit, forms with the water a heterogeneous mixture gasliquid with a lower density than the liquid We present below an original approach regarding this problem After a theoretical study, the authors propose a system which could be used for fishing and for bringing the fish on board of fishing vessels.
