Background: Using clinical supervision can control various aspects of learning in nursing students. Clinical decision in scholarship, if combined with supervision, can enhance the performance of nurses in the future. This study aimed to determine the effect of clinical supervision on clinical decision of students in Saveh Nursery Faculty of Medical Sciences in 2017. Methods: The present quasi-experimental before-after study investigated 60 students of Saveh Nursing School of Medical Sciences and selected census sampling method due to the limited sample size of the target population that were randomly assigned to two experimental (N=30) and control groups (N=30). Data was collected through Laura decision making questionnaire. Intervention plan lasted for five weeks. Data was analyzed by SPSS software Version 19 using independent t-test, paired t-test. Results: The mean age of samples was 21.56 ± 1.61 years. There was a significant difference between the two groups (experimental and control) before the intervention in mean scores of decisions (P<0.708), but significant differences were observed after the intervention (P<0.001). Before the intervention, 100% of students were in analysis decisionmaking level and all promoted into commentary decision making level and these changes were statistically significant (P<0.001). Conclusions: Given the significant impact of clinical supervision on clinical decision for nursing students, this method can be used to improve decision-making and the quality of nursing education programs.
