From the results of recognizing prominent stereotypes, the relationship between these media patterns and the way students expose themselves on social networks will be analyzed. Students' real-life practices under the impact of media intensities will also be the object of this research. By using three major methods: content analysis, textual analysis, and ethnography, as well as approaching research subjects through the framework of Roland Barthes's semiology and Stuart Hall's encoding/decoding theory the author will anatomize the everyday experience of gifted students and, furthermore, the life of Vietnamese youth under the pressure of post-reform media environment. Through this research, the author provides different perspectives on popular topics such as the youth's education or social inequality risen from prejudices on the modern media landscape.
