Abstrakt: Fetal cardiac assessment was done in all the pregnant women who came from second trimester scan in our centre.26 fetuses (0.49%) were identifies with congenital heart disease. Congenital heart diseases are the most common abnormalities in fetuses, being six times more common than chromosomal abnormalities a detailed evaluation of fetal heart optimises the diagnosis of CHD this provides an appropriate prenatal and postnatal planning enabling an improvement in neonatal morbidity and surgical outcome.
