Twenty-eight patients, 13 men and 15 women, aged between 16 and 51 years (mean age 31 years) participated in an evaluation of fluconazole 2% shampoo for the treatment of seborrheic dermatitis (SD). The study proves that Fluconazole 2% shampoo is an effective treatment in the therapy of SD. Pityrosporum is a lipophilic yeast and part of the normal flora of the human skin in adults. |
