Abstrakt:	This article focuses on the early art work of Henry Siemiradzki. Topics include his early interest in art, practice of art as an amateur, his drawing skills in high school in Kharkov, his oldest surviving sketchbook of 1859, which is displayed at the National Museum in Warsaw's collection. It also mentions that his sketches as a student at Kharkov University's has been owned by the National Museum in Krakow since 1979.
