The second eliminator segment of SCR 22 was the Muscle Car Shootout, designed to accommodate factory-built muscle cars from the 1960s to 1970s, GM or otherwise. Dailey and his Firebird edged out Clary's 427 SC/Yenko with a 10.49 to Clary's 11.79.
