Green Human Resource Management refers to the use of human resource policies to promote the sustainable use of company resources and to ensure environmental sustainability. Green human resource management practices include green job analysis and description, green recruitment, green selection, green induction, green performance assessment, green training and development, and green rewards. This study aims to identify the extent to which Egyptian travel agencies adopt green human resource management practices, the constraints facing implementation, and the most important requirements for their successful implementation. To achieve the objective of the study, two hundred and seventy survey forms were distributed to a random sample of the Egyptian travel agencie' managers category (A) in Cairo governorate. The study found that Egyptian travel agencies do not apply green human resource management practices because there are a number of constraints facing their application. The study also researched some of the requirements to address these constraints and ensure the success of applying green human resource management practices. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
