A combination of a neonicotinoid seed treatment and a diamide seed treatment may provide better control of the seedling pest complex compared to these products alone, and may enhance overall rice water weevil (RWW) control. The purpose of these trials was to evaluate insecticide seed treatment rates and combinations to determine efficacy for rice water weevils. These results indicated combinations of diamide and neonicotinoid insecticide seed treatments have the potential to reduce RRW density and increase yield in conventional and hybrid rice varieties.
