Recently a “Silicon Radar” company [1], located in Frankfurt-on-Oder Germany, released new mm-Wave transmitter TRX_120_001. On its basis was developed radar sensor “Evalkit SiRad Simple 120” with sub-millimeter range resolution. With help of a plastic lens, beam can be focused easily up to 2-5 degrees with working range expanded up to 40 meters respectively. Due its unique capabilities, sensor looks promising in such medical areas as: remote heart rate and breath monitoring, breath gas analysis, biomechanics, mm-Wave therapy and diagnosis.
