The article offers suggestions for mental health professionals to accept information provided by a third party, as client suggestibility. Topics suggested include to understand the meaning of suggestibility in context of clinical interviewing, assessment and treatment planning, use open-ended questions while minimizing the use of forced choice; and considering personality and social characteristics that can influence suggestibility. |
