Abstrakt: This article presents information related to music. The book "Unmusical New York," written by Hermann Klien. While the title of the book is even more offensive than that of the original lecture, the language is more conciliatory, and the virtues are not altogether overlooked. Klein admits that audiences behave well. Not once did he hear an audience hiss or "boo," at a performer, or indulge in any direct manifestation of impatience or displeasure. The Metropolitan Opera season, will be memorable as the season during which the experiment was tried of having a double orchestra and a double chorus thus making it possible to give simultaneous performances in New York and other cities.
