In this paper, we analyzed various methods for abradability testing polymer materials. An optimal test method reflecting the operating conditions of the elastic tank was established. The method takes into account the duration of the abrasive action at a constant friction force and varying friction force. A model that relates the duration of the action of a constant friction force and various friction force is obtained. A complex relationship between abradability and the friction force is shown.
