Abstrakt: |
A numerical method based on non-uniform Haar wavelets is proposed for solution of linear and nonlinear stiff ordinary differential equations (ODEs) and system of ODEs. A new collocation scheme with variable step size is introduced. Some numerical examples are considered to illustrate the effectiveness of the method. Computer simulations show that in case of stiff problems nonuniform Haar wavelets method gives better accuracy than the Haar wavelets method of constant step size. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
