Abstrakt: Highlights from the article: Stabilization of the Perovskite Phase in the Y-Bi-O System By Using a BaBiO3 Buffer Layer (Phys. In article OR no. 1800679, Rosa Luca Bouwmeester et al. show that by OR using a BaBiO SB 3 sb buffer layer, the Y-Bi-O system stabilizes in OR its thermodynamically unstable perovskite phase instead of OR in the favorable fluorite structure. Here, a rocksalt layer OR accommodates for the 12% lattice mismatch between the OR two perovskite structures so that the BaBiO SB 3 sb film is fully OR relaxed afterwards.
