Abstrakt: |
The results of the thermomechanical destruction study of elastomers, previously exposed to ionizing radiation in an installation of accelerated electrons at 100, 150, and 200 kGy are presented. The effect of temperature and thermomechanical processing time on the Mooney viscosity change of the irradiated elastomer is studied. A mathematical description of the process is proposed. Using the experimental data of Mooney viscosity measuring kinetic characteristics of the process are calculated. It was established that the rate constants of individual stages of the process are determined by the irradiation conditions of the initial samples and depend little on the treatment temperature. Dispersion analysis of the simulation results confirmed the adequacy of the model, the computational error was no more than 8%. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
