Coxsackie virus infections are among the main environmental risk factors which induce autoimmune T1D disease and they have been prevalence more frequently in T1D patients than in healthy group. These study was designed to estimate the IgG in T1D patient with coxsackie virus B. The study included 58 T1D patients attending Al- Sadr hospital /diabetes center in Al-Najaf city, AL-Diwaniyah Hospital/diabetes center and some private laboratories. Patients distributed according to age ranged from (7-25) years old from both sexes, gender and residency. Assay of study estimation of parameter level of IgG using sold phase enzyme linked immune sorbent assay. It also investigates involved the molecular assay for conformation and determination of prevalence of CVB-T1D related strain. Serological assay revealed high increase in IgG level in CVB infected patients(67.4±8.2pg/ml) as compared with control group (24.2±3.3) with significant differences at (P< 0.05). The results of PCR (RT-PCR, Nested-PCR) were showed that out of 58 seropositive samples 18(31.03%) were positive for CVB RNA. Nine PCR positive sample get sequenced and The results showed high similarity with CVB4 strain. Phylogenetic tree showed epidemiologic and evolutionary relationship with related CVB4 strain around world. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
