The article presents some political updates. It focuses on the recent meeting of the General Assembly of Connecticut held under the limitation of five months imposed by an amendment to the Constitution. Its members seem to have had no difficulty in getting through the grind of bills as well in five months as in nine. Another update highlights the report of the sub-committee appointed by the National Executive Committee of the Socialist party to study conditions in the West Virginia-based mine fields. |
