The article focuses on several books. The book "Human Quintessence," is written by Sigurd Ibsen. The book is not a work of a closet philosopher, but of a public man who has done his thinking at the vital point where philosophy touches morals, literature, and legislation. Books "John Cave," and "Barbara Gwynne," are written by W.B. Trites. The author of these books is an American who first found a publisher and an audience in England. He is now introduced to his fellow-countrymen with a chorus of imported praises which fill a dozen pages at the back of each volume. |
