Magnetite-magnesium ferrite hybrid magnetic nanofluids of various volume ratios have been synthesised through coprecipitation method and their structural and morphological properties have been analysed with XRD and AFM analysis respectively. Magnetite-magnesium ferrite nanoparticles exhibit cubic spinel structure and spherical shape. The ultrasonic velocity along with the acoustic parameters like adiabatic compressibility and attenuation coefficient have been examined. The decreasing tendency of ultrasonic velocity with various volume ratio and increasing response with different temperatures have been analysed to identify the interparticle interactions in the hybrid magnetic nanofluids.
