The problem of personality formation and development within educational process is researched in the article. The relationship of education organization with the problems of person’s self-development is revealed. It is proved that the full development of personality is carried out through the «holistic knowledge», which serves as the basis of critical thinking and a prerequisite for an indifferent attitude to the world.
