The article analyzes the 1988 horror film "Dead Ringers," directed by David Cronenberg and starring Jeremy Irons. The basis of the plot was the real-life story of Stewart and Cyril Marcus, identical twins who practiced gynaecology at New York Hospital and were found dead together in 1975. It points out that Cronenberg used dream sequences and mental breakdowns to his advantage and also describes the visual environment used in the film. How the film could be used in classroom is also cited. |
