| Abstrakt: | An editorial is presented which discusses the featuring of the first and foremost film school, VGIK in its centenary in the periodical Studies in Russian & Soviet Cinema in the second issue of 2019. It also discusses the Soviet filmmaking, film studies, and film history, including the collaboration with the English-language contributor Stephen M. Norris in preparing the issue. |
