The article presents a case study of a 2-year-old girl having acute bronchitis and respiratory failure diagnosed with myxoedema coma, which is a form of hypothyroidism. It discusses the common misdiagnosis of this condition and how it could be instead diagnosed as central hypothyroidism with thyroxine supplement. |
