The article talks about the Habana-Matanzas ophiolites that is the part of Northern Cuban ophiolites, upper mantle peridotites composed of refractory serpentinized harzburgites with tectonite textures and that host small chromitite bodies. It talks about the two groups of peridotites, the partial melting and mantle interaction, melts at the subduction zones and documenting melt metasomatism in mantle wedge. |
