| Abstrakt: |
The aim of this paper is to describe forest soils from Galati County, on the basis of the soil analysis data from forest management plans made in the period 1985-2013, namely 134 soil profiles and 423 pedo-genetic horizons. The data is part of a huge national database created by "Marin Dracea" National Institute for Research and Development in Forestry. The most widespread types of soils are phaeozem (24 %) and fiuvisols (20 %), followed by preluvols (19%), arenosols (13 %) and chernozem (11 %). Other types of soils identified in this County are: luvosols, regosols, erodosols and vertisols. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
