Abstrakt: The article focuses on the need to develop treatments for children infected with Baylisascaris procyonis which can lead to serious complications. It talks about the Baylisascaris procyonis being found in the gastrointestinal tract of raccoons and transmits through the fecal-oral route. It tells about disorders like isceral larva migrans (VLM), neural larva migrans (NLM) and ocular larva migrans (OLM) being caused by the worm.
