Abstrakt: The article discusses historical sources related to the Spanish Inquisition's witch trials in the Kingdom of Navarre, Spain between 1609 and 1614. An investigator from the royal council of the Inquisition, known as the Suprema, in Madrid was sent to determine the justness of the proceedings, which resulted in the Suprema issuing a statement exonerating those found guilty of witchcraft and such stringent guidelines regarding witch trials, they effectively ended them in Spain. Records of legal suits claiming defamation and assault were filed at the Royal Court (Real corte mayor) of Navarre, by victims accused between 1609 and 1612.
