| Abstrakt: |
The Luminescence of Ce3+activator in Ba(SCN)2 host is investigated. The phosphor samples were synthesized by the method of re-crystallization through aqueous solution at 353 K. Photoluminescence measurement shows emission peak at 455 nm corresponding to d→f transition of Ce3+ ion. The excitation spectrum monitored at 455nm emission exhibits broad excitation band peaking at 358 nm. Concentration quenching is studied. CIE 1931color co-ordinates as well as critical distance are found out. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
