The article discusses how portrayal of rape in mass media has changed attitude toward rape and rape myths. It offers examples of sexual violence on television and It highlights that television shows including "Law and Order: Special Victims Unit", "Grey's Anatomy" and "Vikings" that have increasing audience demand expressions show potential to shape and reflect contemporary beliefs around rape, rape victims and rapists. |
