The article outlines the factors that are considered when the enforcement of an arbitration award in a proceeding governed by the Federal Arbitration Act of the U.S. is challenged based on the argument that its enforcement would violate public policy. Topics covered include authority of the arbitrator in a proceeding governed by the Taft Hartley Act, and challenges to arbitration awards conducted under the authority of the Labor Management Relations Act of 1947. |
