Agent-Based dynamic distribution of the frequency spectrum based on MASCEM implementation.

Abstrakt: Wireless telecommunication is a dynamically growing industry with new issues. Traditional spectrum markets are changing to real-time spectrum secondary markets with potential of higher spectrum utilization. Similar change has been realized in electricity industry. We applied an Agent-Based model of the electricity market MASCEM to simulate the real-time spectrum secondary market and analyzed the effect of the number of operators on a wholesale price and a retail price. The result of our simulation is that wholesale price is more sensitive to the number of operators. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
