Abstrakt: The present work considers the effect of multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) in acetoxy-silicone-based composites on their conductive properties. The method, developed for synthesizing such nanomodified composites, consisted in introducing the MWCNTs into the composite matrix through a solvent. A homogenizer was used for mixing, which made it possible to reduce the size of MWCNTs aggregates formed by 40 times. The specific volume electrical resistivity of the MWCNTs-modified acetoxysilicone-based composites was studied. It was established that the resistance of composite decreases at MWCNTs content growth in acetoxy silicone. The acetoxy-silicone-based composites modified with 15 wt.% of MWCNTs demonstrated the lowest resistivity (1.2 Ω×cm). [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
